Thanks for this video! I tested RH450 in a shop but Staccato'51 was not available in my country, but I bought Staccato'51 from US and extremely happy about it. I was wondering the difference between RH450 and Staccato'51 for a while and its getting clear now. I can say I have right one for me.
Your absolutely Right......... Your Playing Really Sucks, But your Bass Sounds Is GENIUS... WOW
I'm Just Kidding, Your not bad at all. "BUT KEEP PRACTICING"... LOL
Really, Wanted to thank you for doing the comparisons You really Helped me to make up my mind.
The TC sounds really good, Not quite as punchy as the Genz Benz if i,m hearing it right but for what it offers in Detail, It more than picks up for some of its missing character.
@hudsononbass At the moment i have an swr rig. Im selling it to buy a new rig. In a bass shop here in sydney were i am from i have played the genz benz 9.0 shuttle max thru their uber 4x10 bass cab and i have also played the tc rh 450 thru their 4x10 cab and im telling you man..their genz benz can't touch the tc. The genz benz throws it out..but it cannot throw it out with the class of the tc. The tc is punchier, warmer and just nicer in every way. Genz sounds too sterile and tinny...YUK!!!
@sonicshori Well, the Staccato is generally only $100-150 more "street" price. So, if you like a brighter, more modern sounding amp (like most MB, Genz Benz, etc) then yes, it's worth it.
Thanks Donovan, I've been waiting a while for you to do this video. Heard you were going to do this on TalkBass. I like the Staccato. No one has mentioned the high pass filter. Do you think the high pass filter is lower in frequency in the Staccato or are they the same?
This amp sounds great! I actually bought it from you on ebay I think
Love the Zeppelin by the way

@hudsononbass Haha! Well, everyone has their own opinions on which is better - but for me, they are all very good. I do love the S51 though...

The staccato is definitely more percussive which is just personal preference. I really like matching the drummer so that helps the blend.

Yeah, thanks for doing this. Most stores wouldnt carry both or either to try out.

Thanks for the comparison, the RH450 is definitely more to my liking.
