As prior Army, I have no doubt in my mind that I'll ever have to worry about our military firing upon a majority civilian uprising :). This is one of the things that certain branches of our government is most concerned with too :). As far as campaigning, if want to be elected use your OWN money and finesse to do it. Of course, this ignores the fact that universal health care achieves better results for less money. The government may be spending more, but it is done with lower overhead and more efficiency (more efficiency in government, whoa!) than in the private sector, where HMOs and insurance conglomerates already employ legions of bureaucrats with extremely inefficient results.

To dismantle our military bases and to bring our soldiers who are over seas. To make our soldiers work to create more community clinics and housing projects. That can tend to the needy and by this reduction you can in prove the health care system for all. Single Payer Health Care For all..

As prior Army, I have no doubt in my mind that I'll ever have to worry about our military firing upon a majority civilian uprising :). This is one of the things that certain branches of our government is most concerned with too :). As far as campaigning, if want to be elected use your OWN money and finesse to do it. That is unless you're too afraid that's not enough!

Hey Ghost, I am all for open carry. I was just stating that no armed individual will ever get near the president and all these and all these "scared of gun" pussies need to get their heads screwed on straight. I still stand by my comment. The Secret Service agents are some of the best shooters in the world. Especially with handguns.

Of course they are fools. My granddad taught me all I know about weapons and the first thing he told me was "you never let anyone see that you are carry one". He told me a story about this idiot who used to always show off his gun. This idiot once got in a pub fight and someone blasted his brains out before he reached his gun. So, you never EVER display your gun because you are letting others know where it is and thus rendering it useless.

thats a pretty goddamn stupid argument.. when someone sees a person walking down the road with a pistol on his hip or goddamn rifle on his arm, the chances of them wanting to fuck with you go down dramatically, it commands immediete respect.. what happened in your story is just one incident, it doesnt prove anything.. now im not gonna walk around with my rifle everywhere i go, but open carry is one of the best things you can do to preserve your safety

So the argument here is that because we have a sprawling military budget we can't afford to provide health care to everyone. Of course, this ignores the fact that universal health care achieves better results for less money. The government may be spending more, but it is done with lower overhead and more efficiency (more efficiency in government, whoa!) than in the private sector, where HMOs and insurance conglomerates already employ legions of bureaucrats with extremely inefficient results.

To dismantle our military bases and to bring our soldiers who are over seas. To make our soldiers work to create more community clinics and housing projects.
