ok, i actually know what I'm talking about when it comes to this stuff

When bands record at AOL Sessions, they do it without ANY cuts and they don't mix and match takes. As in all the sound you hear came from one take (unlike almost all studio music which will mix and match different takes and cut n paste them together)

however, after that everything else is just like a normal recording session. Everything is professionally mastered and mixed. and there is autotune, but not the t-pain kind

AOL always autotunes the shit out of their guest artists... and patrick's voice is really vulnerable to it and make it sound so much obvious (his voice bending for an example)

yer but it has been mixed, what you hear here is not how it would have sounded as they were playing, they would have been recording into a deskand then that would have been put through pro tools and been mixed like they would have if they had recorded it normally, so its not too different from recording in a studio but with a little more spill as they're not multi-tracking

there playing in a studio. all the vocals and instruments r profesionally mixed and whatnot. its no different then them recording live in the studio

how could it be recorded it is so different from the cd version, listen to the vocals, there are also some errors, the sound of breathings and some mistakes in the bass guitar and the drums is not so precise.

definitely not a playback, it is just a bit modified because aol sessions are always pitch-corrected
