To be honest, the Tomcat is one of the ugliest jets to me. The reason why is very simple: it is just one enormous tri-angular pancake with two totally oversized engine-boobs with huge round anusses at the back farting flames and a long stretched out neck with an oversized head.

That was a nice flight. What was that, fiberglass fuselage with metal bracing inside? I'm guessing the turbines had to be shielded from the fuselage to avoid problems. A good-looking plane.

@b20002003 I'm not the one who posted this video but I saw your question. I looked up a hobby website that said the model jet engines alone cost anywhere from $3500 to $7,000. I saw another website that someone described a functioning model f-14 tomcat jet and said it cost at least $10,000. Looks like any of these would be really expensive. Hope that helps. On another note I hate it when you post questions on someones video and they never reply, that BS.
