Me acabo de enterar de esto.. que curioso. Una vez escuche decir a Matt Groening que la mayoria de las veces la clave del exito de una serie esta en tener una buena banda de sonido, en este caso una buena eleccion, ademas de algunas canciones dentro de la serie que eran instrumentales y ambientaban (no en las que cantaba Chespirito)

@RabMaksim Perhaps Zimmer sounds better, but you have to remember Beethoven didn't have access to the same technology that Zimmer does: e.g. recording, mixing, electronic effects, ect. Plus, music evolves, most modern movie music came from other "classical" composers like Wagner and Verdi.

And this is coming from another Zimmer fan. ;)

A sonata is a structured composition, usually (but not always) divided into 3 movements, with an exposition (introduction), development and recapitulation (recap). Beethoven's Marcia Alla Turca (or 'Turkish March') is a movement from the Overture "The ruins of Athens".

Mozart also wrote a "Rondo Alla Turca" which was the 3rd movement from one of his piano sonatas. This doesn't translate as Turkish March. The Coda at the end sounds very much like a march, however, so the name works

The one by Mozart was a movement of a sonata, so I call it Sonata no. ......., (Turkish March).
