    I play a fixed-necked and straight-necked soprano. I haven't tried a curved necked one nor a curved bell. I'm in no position to give any advice, sorry.

  • I play both and I find that some adjusting is needed to switch from one and another. Soprano has a stronger resistance and it is easier to bent and thus go out of pitch.

  • @OhSoCrimson no its very different. it will feel the same under the hands but the way you produce a good tone are different.
