I'm pretty sure that the reason why V is an 'active' JW is because he/she cannot leave without being shunned by his/her entire family. It has nothing to do with whether or not he/she can get the publications or not. There are quite a few JW's out there who are only in so they can keep their families in tact.

He taught his disciples to preach in Matthew 10. Matthew 10:14 tells them to go house to house. Matthew 24:14 says this good news of the kingdomwill be preached... before the end comes.

There are many witnesses in the organization who really don't believe what they are being taught. They are trapped because of family connections. The funny thing is other members in their own family feel the same way. They will lie to each other and to other witnesses. What kind of 'Spiritual Paradise' is this? You see, that's a lie also. I am currently disfellowshipped. I have found that since I stopped attending meetings I am certainly not a better Christian.
