forget these plastic wonders, get a laserjet P3005, 4300, 4350 or a P4015 these are the big guns, the P1005 is nothing more than a lame toy.

Good printer, but I found it easier to get it working in Linux then Win7. It took about two hours of tearing my hair and cursing before I finally got it working.

Wow, that was quick ;D I have been using inkjets for couple of years now and I'm now buying one of these, it saves alot of money, because there's no need to buy new cartbridges all the time. Thanks from the vid ;)

I have a problem whith mine i cant instal the software of p1005 i enter the cd but at the and says to connect the usb cable but in act the usb cabble is conected!

your cable is usb 1.1.

you need a usb cable 2.0

believe me, this cable thing is not horseshit.

this cable usb 2.0 is more dense.
