  • niceee! XD

  • now thats a shuffle

  • i can feel the music in it.

  • No problem here. Thank you.

  • Sorry for the offencive comment. I'm just expecting a little more from a drum educator, sorry about that. As a professional you should be able to take critisism as well as the nice words..

  • jazz jazz, good!

  • Nice playing

you look like steve smith in the 80s :)

  • Check out the Barcodes - 'Chicken Shack' good to see & hear all variations on the shuffle.

  • good rythm man

  • Hey great job man... I got a video of me playing my shuffle jam! Check it out EVERYONE and comment

  • Nice Flams! :)

  • the ride sounds like poo cause its a sabain b8 wich was my first ride as well its just washy and crapy no clear cut ping like it should

  • Nice left hand chops

  • nice

  • Its more of a blues sound than jazz.

  • nice groove...I dont know if its the mic..but that ride souns like crap though.

  • good job, but i need a Panadol tablet now !

  • Nice shuffle, yes, it's blues not jazz. Jazz goes more on triplets. I liked the tom snare ruffs (I think they were ruffs lol). Anyway cool man, can you do the rossana shuffle? If so post it up played reeet slow please.

  • well played. nice sounding cymbals. what model of cymabals did u use? i bet its sabians... cool sounds!

  • Very good, always timed perfectly with out getting out of the tempo

  • Monaso, funny you say that it was timed perfectly, as I couldn't help noticing the timing getting faster and slower throughout. A click-track or metronome might have helped (if played to), especially for the fills. But a great groove and I loved the way the fills were played (nice technique and style).

  • yeah it gets really noticeable around 1:30.

  • It's jazz. The main cymbal used in Jazz is the ride.

That's like asking someone to play metal without a double-kick.

  • Its a moderate tempo blues shuffle. Thanks.

  • Haha.

  • aaaaah over and over and over help! to much on the ride man! otherwis realy good!

  • Thank you for your comments. It is repetitive, but is intended as an example of how to play a shuffle....thats all.

  • That's quite impressive. While being a very simple beat, you executed it in such a way that it sounded amazing. Only a good drummer can do that.

Great video, although it did sound like you got a LITTLE bit off beat playing the china about 3/4 of the way through. I might be wrong though.

  • No, I think you are right. It was at the end of a long day...not that that is an excuse. Thanks.

  • Awesome! I love jazz...and you can execute it the way it needs to be done!!!
