There is no way this album should work- experimental music almost never really works- and yet it does, and it's brilliant. In my opinion Zaireeka is one of the most extraordinary rock albums of all time, and it marks a turning point in the Flaming Lips' sound: before this they were good, after this they were great.

If you liked this music, then you might enjoy a band named 'Gong'. Although a bit more overt as far as psychedelic devisiveness 'Gong' creates a depth rare to few.(again, 'oxymoron' or hyper-descriptive?

I would suggest dl'ing the "5-in-1 Superior Mix" as it's all four discs (plus the fifth bonus disc) mixed in stereo, but it's not just all the discs playing at once, it's an actual mixdown.

@kgoodies008 Just take the tracks into any sound or video editing program, and lay them over one another, or on seperate audio tracks. Then save it out as an mp3, and bam, you get a perfectly synced, easy to listen to complete track.

i used an ejay djmixstation to combine all 4 cds and burn it to a cd so i can listen to it in my car. it can be done
