I'd driven three hours to hear The Donnas play in Atlanta, and was not all that pleased to hear yet Another warm-up band (The von Bondies) was taking the stage; but I quickly changed my mind. A terrific front-man (and writer and singer), Jason takes the stage and makes you listen - and love. I've not heard them since 2005; I hope they haven't strayed too far!

The Von Bondies are as good as ever with their new release. The live act has gone up a notch now as well. Jason looks good in charge.
