you don't have to apologize for a complex story line it is a writers job to try to lose the the reader (or listener in this instance) it is then their job to give chase by reading (or listening) the reader will enjoy staying on you heals more if it's harder however you will lose some people, these are the people who write comments about how you wrecked the song or something along those lines. Although they will write a similar comment if they simply dislike the song or your interpretation of it.

I understand the story for your video, but I think the editing could be improved. You should also try to find someone who can do either 3D Rendering, or some form of animation or something more then just video clips and the footage of you *or your actress* to make the whole video feel more alive then what you have here. I'm an editor for this kind of stuff and would be happy to give you pointers.

My friend and I are going to make a video to this as well, so I decided to search around for ideas. In all honesty, this needs a LOT of work. There seems to be no storyline, and if there is, geez, it's not clear at all. Maybe you should write out a storyboard or something ahead of time :T

It's slow. I tend to find in music videos something like opening or closing a door, walking to a certain distance, or mouthing something... it's only half done to suggest that it is done, and it is cut off by something else contrasting it and more interesting. Some kinder constructive criticism for you. Also timing is everything. Like you change scenes or cameras off-beat. Put it with the rhythm and it would look tonnes better also.

It's slow.
