  • Wow! I am quite impressed. She seems to be fun to work with and has that bubbly personality, even skin tone is always a plus! I am hoping to be able to get a few models lined up after winter hits. Do you have any hints as to do when you are in the snow? I don't want to wash out the models but I like to keep it soft and not standing out in the cold for too long... I have a Sony Dslr A230 and I normally use natural light and fill flash when needed when the sun moves and cast a shadow. Thank you!

  • Hey Brandon, do you know what program he used to put the video together?

  • @eddieamelia - Final Cut Pro

  • where is that

  • I think it would look awesome if you shot on a tripod and actually slow down the shutter speed to capture more of a silky look to the water in the background.

  • @ZackNutsack - I actually did use that technique on most of the shots. Once I got close to the waterfall, I didnt want to have my camera stationary under the falls for too long because it can only withstand so much spray. It's a hard technique to do with the lighting esp on the model but that's what I had a beauty dish onsite to help add some fill flash.

  • Straight forward and effective.

  • To say the video was shot by your friend playing with the features on his 550d (t2i) it looks like an incredibly professional video, kudos going his way ;)

Cant fault the photography on show here either, awesome work :)

  • she looks like Judd Appatows wife, pretty

  • Pictures looks very good.

    What equipment did you use?

  • Pictures looks very good.

    What equipment did you use?

  • @V2k34e - Canon 5DM2 camera and I used a little on camera fill flash on some of the location spots. I used a Profoto beauty dish as much as possible. I had to resort to the Canon 580ex flash because there was a lot of spray from the falls once we got closer.

  • Great job and great video behind the scenes work too!

  • Saweet Brandon! Who shot the video?

  • @XtremeMeasuresTV - My friend Matt Barker. He wanted to experiment with the video features of his Canon T2i. I think it worked out quite nicely.
