What I do is keep one zombie alive at the end stalled by wall-nuts or tall-nuts and do most of my production then. Very simple yet effective survival-mode strategy. 9990 sun plus pumpkins on all frost melons, flowers, and tall/wall-nuts = win. And this is on flag 2.

My entire was pond was filled with Cattails protected by pumpkins and then the rest of it was just gatling pea and torchwood. If you plant one Cattail from the beginning, it actually takes care of most of your enemies for a decent amount of time so you can plant more flowers. Plant a few magnets in the front, protect them with pumpkins and a few large walnuts. You're good to go.

I don't see how pumpkin-ing the first column makes you not have to worry about miners. All pumpkin-ing does is make it take a longer time for the miners to eat your stuff.

I used spike rocks and the other kind of spike rock u buy from the shop, frozen pea shooter (pardon the names, I don't know them by heart XD), repeater, and gattling peas later on. Spike rocks puncture the tires so got rid of zombies w/ wheels easily. Frozen peas slow zombies down, so spike rocks can do more damage to them. I used blovers occasionally to blow away the fog so I can see. Got through the level very easily. :D

I like to use

Potato mines on land to deter diggers

Followed by two umbrella leafs placed above and below the water to deter catapults and bungees

Then twin sunflowers all the way down the next line and in the spaces not occupied by umbrella leafs

On the water for the first three lines, I would use cattails

I would then place threepeaters down the next line on both land and water

Next, the same with torchwoods

Then snowpeas

I would use tall-nuts and possibly chompers if I get e Cont. on comment

you must have used sun shroom instead of sunflower cuz it may slow your production of plants and in your first defense use puff shroom and peashooter o and use a plantern or blover incase of an emergency and walnut too....

this isnt very cost effective. i have had the best luck by building on the third to right slot on the two rows next to the river with a fume shroom with a pumpkin around it and in front of it 2 onions. on the rows above and below you build wall nuts with pumpkins around them on the 4th slot. Fill the back three rows with sunflowers and rake in cash till you can put in the best plants for the big old golem dudes....i often put in a second fume later on behind the first

i always start night with puff shrooms and imitaters of them, once my sun production is up, i start 2 replace the back rows of my shroom field with whatever plants my current plan involves and move onwards from there

in 2-1 - 2-9 adventure levels (night), i used only sunflowers + grave remover (sorry i don't know correct name in english) + free mushrooms + free mushrooms duplicator. i needed sunflowers only to get sun to remove graves. lots of freer shrooms, no zombies ever touched my sunflowers! :D

its area dmg, + ignores screen-door shields + slows enemies. You can still go with peas anyway, there is not much difference for this level

@rfm767 cept its better to use catapult plants cuz 1 they cna damage the zombies underwater and attack screen door zombies because they hit the head not the door ANd they do twice the damage of a regular pea
