Ok, I was just curious-our stadium (St. Louis) does. The nite we won back in 06, ppl started gathering on the sidewalk (and then the street) outside the stadium cuz they could see on the big screen what was going on. So they all got 2 see how the game ended, instead of just hearing the crowd's reaction. I was just wondering. Congrats 2 u guys-u waited a long time 4 a championship.

Yes and thank you. There is a bar which is part of the stadium with glass all around it called McFaddens. I heard around 1,000+ gathered around and watched it there. There is also a ton of bars around the stadium and in the surrounding stadiums so it was just packed down there in general.

'07 was the worst season in team history, we finished dead last and still sold out 98.9% of the building. We've been doing it since '67 and we'll still be selling out long after the Wild move just like the North Stars did.

I've been checking something. There's a reason the Flyers could have a higher attendance, they have a bigger arena. WC holds 19500 for hockey, the X only holds 18064. So even if you don't sell out games the flyers have the potential to have more fans come through over 41 home games a year. And... in the playoffs in 08, the wild sold standing only tickets and managed to fit over 19000 in one of the smaller arenas in the NHL. suck it.
