I'm absolutely terrified now because I wanted to save up for surgery, but you're so happy... I can only imagine how dazzling it must feel to SEE! Wow.
I wasn't too scared before, but now I am. I don't need it yet if ever, but my husband and 7 year old daughter have the worst eyesight outside of blind people. I'm sure that by the time they do it, then there might be less invasive methods. Thanks for the description of the procedure. It really helps.
I had lasik too 1 1/2 years ago and I will never "look back" ha ha it's completely worth it; changed my life...and my vision is still better than 20/20! Good for you and great description as always
That's good. Good for you. I, who is slowly losing both my eye sight and my hearing from over abusing TV, sunlight, and standing next to the woofer at concerts, is truly jealous. You must felling like Spiderman the day he changed. Everything all WHOOSH (slow motion). I must now Shatner my way into inquiring about this... or wearing my glass more often might help... if I could find them... too bad for my hearing though.
my boyfriend had a lasik surgery a few months ago, now he's always teasing me (haha i can see better than you, can you read this sign, you can't? i can!!)
Eeeeeeeeeeew, I don't think I could deal with the flap thing. Plus I'm insane and I kind of love my crappy vision, I think the fact that I can put these magic glasses on and see things is FASCINATING. Plus, I don't subscribe to alien technology!!
Yeah but I think what you really want is robot eyes. Robot eyes SHOOT lasers. Way more awesome. And you'll have to go through all that weirdness again too if it reverts. D8

I think I'll pass. Good eyesight is so overrated.
bearmare 2 years ago
I'd say that depends on how blind you are.
FireSandra 2 years ago
Yeah. But it's just too much of a procedure to bear for someone with my i-ca-live-with-it-eyesight. I think I'll stick to glasses.
