@TheDearLeaderEd You're welcome. The Rhodesians designed some of the best and most innovative weaponry ever fielded against insurgents. For defence, they also designed a special test rig to test various defensive measures against the Soviet Strela anti aircraft missiles the terrorists were using, this resulted in the creation of IR absorbing paint and engine shields that proved to be extremely successful. If you're interested in the subject I highly recommend the book "Winds of Destruction".
@TheDearLeaderEd They were spherical cluster bombs designed and manufactured entirely in Rhodesia. The design incorporated a 100g safety device and a tiny delay mechanism which ensured that the bombs would only detonate after a severe impact (with the ground) but would then rebound up to a height of 5 or 6 feet before detonating. It was a devastatingly effective weapon.

Ahh the photo of PB, the incredibly effective Strela IR shields on the Alouette III, the Lynx armed with Frantans and the .303 pods.
The Rhodesians were damned clever, the Alpha bombs for example were pure genius.
