The mini-season for regular people is the last Wednesday and Thursday in July. The commercial season starts a week or two after that and a lot of local places have lobster happy hours, like a tail and a longneck brew for 5 bucks. We've been going down there for years but it's gotten pretty crowded lately. We do this thing where we fry up bite sized chunks and dip them in jalapeno butter and sit around and lie until late.
