i agree that strange house was the best album, but i still think the horrors are amazing and haven't lost anything just because they've gone mainstream

Bands feel the pressure to make money once they get noticed, their hunger to be original also dies. The reason they started becomes hazy when they start to see that money coming in, they get greedy, hire a dam manager to help them make more money, the manager surrounds the band with specialists telling them to sound like everything else to make more money. The band start to listen, go main stream for a week, loose all their original fans and then simply die off, like they where one hit wonders.
