Kirk did Exodus a favor by leaving. Hunolt and Holt were a cooking motherfuckin' team. Now Holt and Altus REALLY push it. Lee has more than just metal tricks up his sleeve, he's like Skolnick from Testament, he has genuine musical knowledge. I guess being Russian he was exposed to lots of classical music. Gary's always been good but since Lee joined his playing has reached new levels. Exodus just gets better with time, Metallica don't. Kirk's a VERY nice guy but Metallica can keep him.
