dont know if you know but you're left kick is tuned alot higher than you're right... gonna be real hard to roll steady with the left tuned so much higher. oh and I would drop you're chair down about 2 inches....
I did but i still believe that this is only mediocre stuff and that there are many drummers out there who actually deserve a view or 2 instead of a guy trying to hit both pedals at the same time.
Shorry if it hurts his feelings i understand but thats my opinion.
somos999 hes doing triplets with his feet thats pretty hard thing to im a drummer and im still trying to get that one down mediocre my ass. have you not seen his other videos hes really good
If you want help with triplet double bass, I suggest you try a song called A Cold Day in Hell by Winds of Plague. In fact there is a lot of triplet double bass in Winds of Plague. If your interested.
Hm the beginning does seem rather complicated, but the rest of the video imo is NOT that good! thats my opinion, and i'm commenting this video only i have not commented on the other ones cuz i do believe they re impeccable.
this video let me down. Geezus all that cuz i said my opinion...
There is no quick fix, just practice rudiments with your feet. Not only will this drill in the coordination into your brain it will strengthen the muscles and you're control. I'm no expect though. Rob
I have nothing to prove. It's like saying to someone who said good technique to post a video of him playing a bad technique. Heh... Quite pointless right ? I have the rights to give my opinion and that wasn't mean ; his technique, mostly on his left foot, isn't very good. That's all.
I hope your not being simple minded and all by rating, or making a judgement on this guy just by watching a lil' vid on he bass drum technique. Its not all abotu ya feet now is it??
not at all - i suck with my feet i broke the shit pedal that came with my shit set in six months and spent the next six months pedal less - and i didnt rate i just feel like im missing something if this is worth showcasing - but i dont know
I think he is only trying that technique, without take care about tempo... Come on, watch the Blackened video... why he doesn't have troubles with that song, and the others? xD
really nice and really good. but asnightjosh said. tempo. u should do somekinda little break or u need to make another changeover when ur changing the tempo. then it would be awesome =)
not trying to be lame ok, you play good but if I could say anything it would be to work on that left foot and kick it just as hard as the right, you can watch my video's, I wouldn't say anything if I didn't have good feet... pull back on that right and kick both perfectly even.
triggers are put on the side of a drum and when you hit the drum the send a signal to a modual and play a different sound then your drum actually makes. they also amplify strokes, so a weak little tap will be a giant BOOM when triggerd, sometimes.
the only thing is he doesn't use triggers, and i personally hate them, unless i wanted a weird sound like a lightsaber when i record. but i'd rather muffle them and just get a mic and a mixer so i can just add the sound over a video.
