great video clips - In my first 6months of training I punched the wrong way but quickly corrected it. I know guys with 3 yrs plus of training and still doing it wrong. There is a brilliant moment at 1:30 in this clip - Master Kwok says "you have to train hard" ...this is something alot of ppl start wing chun thinking they dont have to do - train HARD & train SMART. if your doing drills like this you cant rain heavy blows on your partner, so drill it out, then wall bag power punches with focus!
At :55 look at how Sifu Kwok's feet move as he is performing the chain punch, its very slight, he is relaxed and it shows how energy is transfered from the earth (via the movement of his feet) into his body and amplified by the movement of the hips, this creates torque and strengthens the punch
I like this guy, punch him 1-3-5 times and hes still standing, run back home. lol
