Try Elvis' 1956 Hound Dog with Little Richards 1957, or 1958, Hound Dog. I do not mean the version Little Richard sang in the 1960's, the one I'm talking about is a rare 1957, or 58, version where he sings it like Elvis.

You should just have mixed their voices and not the intruments, that that really sound bad.

The idea is great, so with a little more work to it you might make it sound as they really were playing together.
