i am not from chicago and i'm not arab although i am muslim and wear the hijab (head covering) so it's obvious i'm muslim when ppl see me out. once we got lost in a jewish neighborhood in chicago, looking for arabic stores. ppl seemed very nice...an elderly jewish lady gave us directions to the arab part of town. i thought that was ironic and kinda cool

i am paki and the indo-pak area of chicago shares the same street with the jewish part (devon street)

khamdam i have heard that from other jews (are you jewish) as well...i've also seen jews in chicago demonstrating against israel.

i wonder where their synagogues are though because every jewish synagogie i have ever seen in chicago has HUGE "we stand by israel" signs plastered on banners all around the building
