@qwertyfshag : Does your computer weigh more when it's turned on than when it's off? If it doesn't, maybe it doesn't have an operating system because nothing is loaded in the memory.
@qwertyfshag If it goes past the BIOS splash screen, it probably has an operating system. It doesn't have to be on the hard drive though... If you use Windows, it's in X:\Windows (where X is the partition you installed Windows on. Typically C), if you use Linux, it's all around ya.
