It's a great guitar. I have 2 of those: HSS and HSH, metallic black and wine red. Very easy to play on, licensed floyd rose actually works great-stays in tune no problem. Planning to put some Di Marzio PUs these days. Set it up correctly and enjoy it!
gibson les paul & sg? they are both epiphones man dont kid yourself, i have a les paul and a friend of mine has the cheap epiphone version and they are two completely different sounding guitars, basically the cheaper it is *in most cases* the worse it sounds and that is very clear if you have ever play a real sg of les paul, btw to all people that are gonna complain about my comment and say that epiphone makes good guitars, im not arguing they dont in fact i own some nice sounding ones myself
what is the price you got it at because i cant find any websites or anything of it because im gonna get a new guitar and i might sell this 1 mayb not but im gettin a michael kelly vex deluxe black vapor and might put blackouts in it
hey man, i noticed you hum like a mother fucker, a suggestion if i may is to check out the line 6 uber metal pedal, best sounding distortion plus it has a noise gate to cut off the hum sound. for real i have turned a few people onto it and they always thank me
does it stay in tune well? my squier strat doesnt stay in tune very well at all and it has souped up hardware. I have a very hard time with tuning, especially with a bad history of trems but I love this guitar and I want to try and get one
I have the same model, same colour, since October 2001, and i LOVE this guitar! Have a particular sound and is so comfortable! I think is a limited edition, isn´t it? I don´t see it in any Fender catalogue
it was discontinued in 2001 so you can kinda call it limited. it is a guitar you should keep because they will probably not make one like this for a while
okay I have the same one but with out the single coil in the middle and a metallic blue finish. Are these guitars actually worth something since they went out of production?
they are rare, but unusually I saw another one in the same shop I bought mine, when I bought mine, but I got mine for $200. They usually seem to have paint chips sometimes, but I don't think it totally effects the value. But Im sure to the right collector they would pay over $200.
yeah, same circumstances from when I bought mine; there were two others, but one was exactly like yours and another was just like mine but with no Rose.
all in all, I think I paid about $300 for it. there were no paint chips at all, btw.
He means that neither are better. The HSS version has two singles so its easier to get that straty tone if you wanted too, but at the same time retain the chunk of a bucker. The HSH version just gives you another humbucker for a bit bassier fatter sound in the neck and a single in the middle to balance out the tone. Like jake said, it's what you like better. Preference.
NICE!!! Im getting one. I thought that the review was very well done. No offence I wasn't impressed with the Jackson King V. The playing was bad. This was good.
hey i've your same guitar too and do you know if the that guitar keeps on manufacture?i ask you because in the guitar shop they told me that my guitar was the last model of manufacture
i got a 7 string model with ibanez custom metal pickups, mine is at least 23 years old, still sturdy & playable, i checked out some prices and one said $655
