There's a similar PSA aimed at Australian drivers, titled "Speed Kills commercial." The message is the same as the one in the Libyan anti-speeding PSA shown above.
There's a similar PSA aimed at drivers in New Zealand, titled "The Bigger the Mess." Both PSAs convey a similar message i.e. trying to drive around a vehicle that's moving more slowly can end up having an impact just as devastating as rear-ending the vehicle the driver tried to avoid hitting in the 1st place.
and my point is not about the producer or the director.... but where the hell is all the money, they are wasting millions on stupid things so why cant they give money to make sumthing good that looks real which will have bigger impact on people .. yalla inshallah khair
Tripolinights, thank you for your educated reply and positive attitude, I wish there were more people like you here, however I must point out that the videos are NOT my work, I just posted them for the benefit of those who didn't see them, I can't take credit for someone else's work.
ZAWY30, where is your video? or are you taking credit for the Australian video? pls don't make me laugh. Either show your stuff(if you have any) or spare us your negativity.
Thank you bamsinc for your work and the videos you posted. More of these are needed and I am very impressed by them.
I would like to express my disdain for the pathetic attitude and extreme deprecation that some Libyans show towards the hard work of others. This negative attitude is very common and needs to be rooted out for any progress to occur. The prophet (PBUH) said: "قل خيرا أو اصمت"
Car accidents are the biggest killers in Libya, more work like this is needed to improve road safety.
I agree that it would be more effective if the speech was in "Libyan Arabic", but that would cause other complications, for example; which accent would be used? Western or Eastern Libyan? The main advantage of having it in proper Arabic is that it can be used for all of Libya.
Well, me as a Libyan, I don't really care about whether its Western or Eastern accent since in Libya I assume we do NOT emphasis or concentrate on such thing
Remake of the TAC ad 'Blame'.

I would like to repeat what TRIPOLINIGHTS has commented.
THANK YOU BAMSINC for posting these 6 safety videos.
I will be showing them to my students when I travel to Jordan next month to deliver my advanced driver training program.
Ignore the comments from the ignorant.
You need to remember that 1.2 million lives are lost every year in road collisions.
Thanks again for your consideration.

This idea is stolen from Australia, search for "TAC - Blame".
I guess it's good that if these adverts worked well in their host countries, they would work well elsewhere.

I also agree on that point, I don't mind in which accent they speak, but I'm not sure all people are like this.

why they talk in Formal Arabic language, they should talk in informal way "Libyan Accent" so that the ads does its effect on the targeted people !
