I did not put it together that this was the Sheri that sings encourage yourself. I used love this song, and I still do. I used to be so depressed and down and out when this song came out. I later discovered it was my messed up ways of thinking that were causing me so much trouble. I did not mean to go there. this song just brings back memories of a certain time in my life.
