hectorhadid: I got that dragon skull about 7 years ago, I do believe at the time it was from a Spencer's Gifts or Newburies Comic shop.
Vinnie291: I have own a launch model 60gig PS3 with the 'Emotion Engine' hardware chip for full best backwards compatability support, if that is what your asking.
DaKiddyadig: My PSP is a Metallic Blue japanese import.
SuperMafioBrother: I actually do not own a PSP slim so I'm unsure and can't test out your question myself. But if your simply inquiring wether remote play on a SlimLine is able to due this, the answer I believe is yes.
thats the dumbest question Lair is for PS3 meaning you can connect straight to your tv...why the hell would you connect your psp to your tv in remote play?
omg that should not be possibile, from a hardware stand point... that makes me wonder about how much "next gen" is lair, its like a ps3 game psp could run without giving a smoke signal so not so technically great
@phazoncandy you mean the delay of the controls input to actual execution? If so, nope its very spot-on, even when playing over the internet...tested it out through my campus wifi and it was still good.
The new firmware update for the PSP now allows you to remap the buttons, allowing you to regain the ability when playing via RemotePlay to Brake/SlowDown & land on the ground. So now the game is alot more playable.
I think Lair is the only one Ps3 title compatible trough Remote Play able to be played with PSP anyway i got game and i tested by myself and L+R (buttons for brake Dragon and for land dont works that suks :|) Anyway is awesome XD
The PS3 system is handeling all of the processing of the game. The game is being relayed via the internet on a remote connection protical to the PSP. The PSP is only displaying relayed graphics and trasmitting the input controls on the PSP back to the system to control the game. If you can connect to a hotspot you can play your game away from home.
Lair is excellent. The motion controls don't bother me as much as people say. I also tried this and it works perfectly... however I will say I like the motion control better than the analogue nub (yes be surprised that I actually like the controls). Ps: Lair looks beautiful on a 1080p TV (yes there is a little slowdown in spots where there is a lot going on but its not as bad as everyone says)
Yes, you can connect remotely via broadband your PSP to the PS3 if you can connect to a WiFi hotspot. This is the first disc-game or DVD/BluRay(movie) that allows for this connectivity. The big deal is that this is a proof of concept and a hint at the future of the two systems interaction.
@gggbc >.< It's a quality wallpaper, it is all done in pastels and its just a girl in a whitedress sitting in a forest pond *sigh* it is clean and just vibrantly beautifull.
whoa this is amazing. i always wanted to play ressistance this way but it says this option is not supported. how did you get the game this fast? ps nice ps3 wallpaper you perv hahahahhahahaha
I still can't believe it man. I was really excited when I could play Mainichi Issho on the PSP through Remote Play, but Lair?
I just say that I can't believe it until I see it.
It is just too much of a step into a completely different direction of gaming, connecting portable and home consoles in ways that they have never been before...
When played on the PSP the game's motioncontrols don't work the game allows you to play via the thumbstick. When on the PS3 your analog sticks control the camera but on the PSP it controls all your movement. It's pretty sweet, there are drawbacks though, you can't use the 180-Turn or Power-Dash commands since they required special motion-control input. You also can't land on the ground as that used the L2+R2 button combo. Other than tha tyou can do everthing else in the game.
The PS3 is running the game and the PSP is acting like a controller/screen. The PSP and PS3 are comunicating through Wifi that is built in both the PSP and PS3. PS3 is sending the video to the PSP and PSP is sending the control inputs to the PS3. Later Sony wants to to this over the Internet so you can do this anwhere in a wifi hotspot.

It's just like remote desktop on XP and Vista everything's processed on the machine and the PSP is used as an external monitor and basic controls.
