@huggablegummibear Thanks. ;) the sock bun will work with short hair. it just has to be long enough to cover the end of the sock. try doing it up higher, i find that when my hair is in a higher pony it is much longer if that makes sence. and of course you will have to use some kind of hair spray and pins to keep the back peices from falling =)

@meg12353 try taking all your bands at once it works best it the bangs arecutt at an angle so that there is a little bit of a longer peics that is mosr curley at the end. if that maes sence. pick the hair up and curl it backwards instead of the normal way that one would currl their bangs. Thats the only way i know how to answer. is the hair not staying together? can you give me a little detail as to why you thin it isnt working!!!

@kitkat123567888 thanks, with curlers it all depends what kind they are. you can use any old curler and get results. if you want to use them try adding a tiny amount of mousse when your hair is damp. try and find one that has a flexable hold so your curls arnt stiff. When your hair is damp add the curlers make sure you brush it out smoothly before putting each one in.

@kitkat123567888 and try not to use to much hair in one curl. leave them in until your hair is dry or use a blow dryer and let them sit in until your hair has cooled down. then take them out and run your fingers through, that should give your some sexy model hair =)

@GlitterWater13 shuld still work for you. try it out. mine is from the Marktkauf. German store around 20€ but you can eaisl find a good one about the same at walmart, or local drug stores. important thing is cermaic plates and adjustable settings. search youtube for or google for best cheap hair straightner. or if you want to spend the money. i had one before this one from bedhead...AMAZING- also ghd straightners are great.

you don't use anything to keep it in place? any product beforehand? how long does it last? i'd worry about it totally falling back to normal hair in a few hours.

@pinkhairedkitty my hair is naturally wavy so mine will hold pretty much all day on its own. but if your worried about it falling then after you do a layer spray it with a flexable hold hair spray and it will still move well and hold it during the day. just keep doing that after each layer. Or you can spray it all at the end. if you want to use a product beforehand then you can add mouse to the hair while it is still wet and then dry. good texture and hold. =)

@pinkhairedkitty ít can if you put a lot, and you will probablly have stiffer curles if you use mouse and then curl. i like hair spray better than mouse but i have used mouse. if you have naturally curley hair then your can get different curles by leaving your hair

@pinkhairedkitty damp and then scrunching it in your hand with mouse, your hair will be a little stiff.depending on how much you have to use. it also works for straight hair but the crrles arnt really defined. play around with it. and see what you can come up with.

@kelster9143 im not really sure. i wouldnt think so. becasue the flat iron gives a different curl than a normal curling iron. but another way that you can get really pretty curls is to use your normal curling iron as a clipless iron. instead of putting your hair in the metal clip like normal just wrap your hair around the whole curling iron and hold the end of the hair with your fingers. this was gives something similar to what i have done. but not exact. never the less they do turn

Hi, I have the same hair style and length as yours. I did exactly the same thing but my hair looks messy after curling (I used the ceramic curler). I use hair spray it hold the curl but my hair seems to be squashed down and loose the curl. Can you tell me any tip to manage the hair after curling stay in place, not stick up and out? @Bravevanguard Try curling tighter. the slower you pull the tighter the curl, then in a few hours e hair will fall a little to the point you want it. i dont have a prefrence for hair spray. ill use anything with a flexable hold to the hir can still move. try to avoid anything stiff. =)
