hi there, please could any1 help me ! i have just purchased a 350w bandsaw, i am using it to cut 20mm hardwood, it seems to work fine in a straight line but when i try and cut a curve the blade stops moving, my blade is 1425mm x 6.35mm x 0.3mm, any advice would be much appreciated, john

Is this a rockwell 14" bandsaw? it sounds exactly like mine.

@Fringeko i paid 600 back 30 years ago it has a 6 inch riser on this 12 inch delta today it goes for about 400 without the block riser and you can get bandsaws for about 100 or a bit more for a table top, i just got one to cut small item,, which is great i got it at a flea market for 35 bucks, delta,,9 inch good luck , arleen

hi allen, thanks, i am a farmer at heart but 23 years in it and no money it was time to move on lol and to better things, went into carving and no money in that either , when will we country folks learn!! lol
