Ewing is actually 6'10. Ewing admitted this when he was coaching at Houston Rockets. Dikembe and Yao Ming are over 7 feet and made fun of Ewing not being a true 7 footer. Larry Bird also hints at this later on in this biography. Also you can clearly see that Ewing and coach Thompson are equal in height, Thompson is listed at 6'10 on google and pother sources.
@usnate1 Good point there. The reach is important in basketball though they never mention it. I saw these two guys years ago in college, one was 6'6 and the other was listed about 6'3. They were asked to stand back-to-back and reach up in the air with their right arms extended, Incredibly, the 6'3 guy's arms reached about 2 inches higher than the 6'6 guy, even though the 6'6 guy clearly had about 2-3 inches of height on him.
watch the smooth 80's style finger roll on 6:32...smooooooth as eggs. ANd what about Sleepy Floyd's pass? ahahah dude deserves his name...did bill clinton write him a letter after? ahahah
Knicks to me just do stupid things. In Georgetown, Ewing played more inside and back to the basket. But on the knicks they made him shoot jumpshots and running hooks smh

He never had a chance against Olajuwon in 94! And when he struck fear in the Tar Heels in 82. It resulted in goaltendings and points for the Tar Heels.

@mcentepede I wonder why he always seemed like such a giant then. Maybe it was his athleticism at that height, he coud jump over everybody.

@mcentepede He is only 6'10 or 6'11 but his arms were longer than hakeem's or shaq's.
