Man Roth is funny--he is so glad to be back in--he is like a gleeful 6 year old kid at Christmas---too bad no Michael Anthony and they hide the keyboard player...From the 90's until 2004 they were using Alan Fitzgerald (formerly of Night Ranger, Gamma and Montrose.

Roth stops Eddie playing what he feels?What the hell is Eruption then? also I think Eddie's work in the Roth years was absolutely fantastic and his Hagar years were good too...but you can't go dissing the great DDLR he started with Van Halen and they all (YES ALL) got themselves to great fame and fortune because they ALL contributed to the band to make the music we all know and love and I really don't like fighting over the band the ROCKS EVERYONES SOCK'S and in the end they are one band.

what i was trying to say was. DDLR limited the bands depths all he wanted was heavy electric guitar. thats what eddie said. he also said DDLR did not wnat him to play the keyboard and just to write songs on guitar. hagar came along they are now a unit and can play what they feel.

When DDLR left Van Halen, both sides made some bitter words over eachother that explains all the stuff you just said...but you can't tell me that Hagar made everything better Hagar made Eddie go back to drinking after his long run with sobriety and if you do some research there is stacks of things that Eddie complained about Hagar.

yes very true, but eddieis heart was in the music he was a musician and he was himself with hagar on stage you could see in his smile and his playing he had the right person. yes hagar liked a drink and was a bit crazy with a temper but all of that DDLr being the leader was gone until he came back, and with eddie being as vonurable as ever can he really make an album of the music he feels and want's to express noo what DDLR want's. all eddie needs is a bit respect for himself from DDLR.

I was at the Verizon Center also Thursday evening... way up in section 409 .. had a front view of the stage and a full view of the whole place .. even from way up there it was awesome! Like others I've talked to, I too think it was the best concert I've seen. Amazing.
