I am terminally ill and all the kids are fighting over who is gonna get moms Pink Floyd collection. I asked them can ya wait till I am dead please. "Animals" is such an underrated album! It's not only great music by itself, but it's the climax of the tension between Gilmour and Waters, and it shows: Waters sets the general tone, but Gilmour shines in return like a crazy diamond... Absolutely AWESOME guitar solos by Gilmour, and I always get amazed at how they distorted the sample of "stone" into a dog howling - both the idea and the execution. "Dogs" is certainly this album's best, though I also love "Sheep", especially the finale.

I became a Pink Floyd fan when I was only 10. At the end of third grade, I got really good grades and my dad bought me this tape as a gift. After hearing it the first time, we weren't really sure what to think. But it quickly grew on both us, and we decided that this is hands down the best track. Hearing this 25 years later as an adult, I like it even more than I did back then. I actually understand the lyrics, and it sounds especially great after a few bong hits! Lol!
