it seems to me that messages have been confused or taken the wrong way. i am the son of a soldier who severed in the gulf war 2. neither he nor i like war, the death and destruction. moodini99 is right by saying war is pointless and that in alot of cases foreign troops have no right to go invade a cuntry and kill its residence. war and murder is wrong by any means. however the song is not praising the murdeer of the children, it is wives saying i love you to the ones they love.

Marvelous! I remember in Gulf War I when I was called to active duty and my wife's major support system was the Wives' Club. I can't say enough good things about the various military wives' clubs. I wish I'd had this song to listen to back in 1990-91! Thanks to our cousins "across the pond" for this fantastic song!

I have just listened to this song for the first time, and then I read the comments and to say I am gobsmacked is an understatment. There are obviously many self opinioned, ill informed boneheads out there. Tell you what lets pull all our troops out of all the conflicts and see what a shit house world it will be to live in then. I suddenly remember why I left the UK nearly 40 years ago, and came to a country where for the most part we appreciate the efforts of our armed forces. Well done Ladies!!

I hate to be the one to say it, but when you look at the soloist you don't imagine a voice like that. I heard this song and I thought it was something by Katherine Jenkins, then I watched the video and I was utterly blow away. She (and all of them) really are fantastic. Katherine Jenkins couldn't do better.
