I think I have 4 shakuhachis around the house. It took a few tries to get a vaguely clean tone. Make sure the mouthpiece has a clean edge to cut the airstream. That and the angle were the things I had the most trouble getting right. (I probably still need to improve them)
You may need to play in a slightly higher key to get the notes to come out right, but it sounds like you have a start to a good flute. Good work!

I didn't comment to be offensive, fyi. I was refering to that flute. I suggest attempting that song through a real shakuhachi. Many of the notes from that flute were different from the notes from the song. Can you not hear that, sir?
