I got a PowerBook G4, 12-inch, it came with a composite/s-video out adapter. and Front Row looks EXACTLY the same as with the Apple TV.

And the commercial is also makin it seem like you cant hook an iPod to a tv... i use an iPod instead of a DVD player all the time. Apple tv doesn't even work with CRT TV's WTF???

people dont want to go out...rent the movie...it could be out of stock...come home...then have to return in in time later. not only does it play your tv shows and movies it also plays your music...your photos in a slide show and it can connect to youtube (you need a wireless network to update it anyways) to play streamed videos

Apple tv sorry to say is actually one of the biggest waste of money and that picture on tv is altered. Apple tv only works on wide screen tv's and all the videos from itunes are standard so the image is distorted. Enjoy your new apple tvs :P
