How much do your adult males weigh, and how tall are they. I am really wondering about mine. Trying everything Joy, puppy food, natural diet. He just wont gain a pound.
They weight from 75 pounds to 140. Otto is 140, he is from my first litter. Off breed standard, hence nuetered. Try NutraCal. You can get it at your vet's or at VetAmerica. It is about $8.00 a tube. If you mix it with his dog food, it should help. Also, pure pumpkin will put on weight and it is good for them! NOT pumpkin pie filling!
If you have any issues with Parvo let me know ASAP. I think I have a cure that the vet will not give you. Dobies and rotts are the most likely. And I lost my most special Dobie to it.

Hi Dobermansrock!BLEACH ROCKS!I even bleach puppies feet and legs when they return from the vet. They NEVER touch the vets floor. I am a freak about germs and health. Dobermansrock, I lost 11 puppies to parvo, at 8 weeks old perfectly healthy! It was horrid. The survivors took 6 weeks to nurse back to health with round the clock care. I am SO strict now. I have special famillies that I use for socializing. I just won't chance them dying.

We just had 6 puppies go to great homes, only 3 cropped, all others natural ears. 2 headed for obedience and agility training. Nothing better than being owned by a Dobie. I won't cook for my dear hubby, but I do for my Dobies!

There is nothing "wrong" with their ears. I don't understand why you would think natural ears are wrong. Are you aware that AKC allows Dobies to be shown with natural ears? You say you're a serious Dobie owner... where are you vids? And what titles do you hold on your dogs? I don't like your comment. My opinion...
Your opinions are that of a small child. I see nothing wrong with her dobes they are great looking. I didn't crop mines ears either, I bet you suck at life.

Very sad is'nt. It was the worst. I had wanted and searched for a dobie for two years.
Then I found her and she was so smart. At ten weeks she knew sit, lay, stay, heel, go lay down, no, and was housebroken.
One trip to petsmart and it was all over.
I was unemployed at the time. And had nothing but time for her. Damn did I cry. she was awesome. And I swore god took her because so.
I vowed it would never happen again on my watch.

I love mine too. I have a male and a female. He is AKC and she is CKC. I cannot wait till they get to make more.
You have beautifull dogs. And I read everything in your site. Thank you for the info on super dogs. I will incorperate this with my first litter.
