The fragile is a completely different sound to the slip. I like the slip hes experimenting with new sounds and some of those songs are really cool.

I love the fragile dont get me wrong its unbelievable but i wouldnt write off the slip as a bad album.

Hopefully just a stepping stone for things to come :)

The Fragile and The Slip have oddly significant similarities and differences. Granted, The Slip has a heavier sound, but I can sense a lot of borrowed elements from The Fragile mixed in. The instrumentals that were most commonly seen in The Fragile seem to play a significant role in The Slip as well. Idk about you guys, but The Mark Has Been Made and The Four of Us are Dying seem like relatives sound wise.

why does everyone keep saying this? last time i checked, the fragile took 2 years to make.. whereas the slip took 3 WEEKS! (that's about 1/34 & 2/3's-th of the time lol) I mean cmon! Trent himself said that the Slip is more of a sketch than an actual painting. You can't really compare sketches to paintings. Within the next 2 years, I expect to see YZ Part 2, and his next personal narrative 'painting'.. and I have a very strong feeling it will blow us away. Don't worry, it will.
