thinking of my Concours to Colombia. Was the Transamerican highway paved throughout the countries you went thru?

Denver to Guatemala, Belize and back was 6300 miles in 3 weeks. Three days we didn't ride at all. That averages out to 400 miles a day. Reality is somedays we rode 700(Texas)a day. other days as little as 100.

@stang46281 We didn't feel at all in danger, never have in all my trips. Although times have changed down there now. Tensions are obviously higher with the drug cartel wars. For the first time I ever, I think I will stay away. That really surprizes people who know me. I seldom worry about such things. sad
