Think about this. If you took all the people off food stamps, then 42 million people would just simply stop buying food [because they can't afford it] meaning we wouldn't need as many people working to grow, produce or manufacture food. Meaning more people would be out of work. Then all those people who were on food stamps would go hungry and then become sick, meaning your tax money would go towards curing the poor instead of feeding them.
