  • Just because something is "tradition" doesn't make it right. You want to eat animals, go out into the wild and hunt them yourself. Just like other carnivorous mammals do. If it's in your care, then it's a pet. And if you won't eat your pet cats and dogs because it's mean, then don't eat innocent farm animals either.

  • Not all traditions are worthy of admiration and respect. Cruelty should never be tolerated when under the guise of "tradition" or "culture". Harmful practices should not be condoned for the sake of ritual or customs - That is how our species will Evolve to a kinder, healthier and better world for all inhabitants. I'm glad to the lessening of suffering to these chickens - Now can we work on the other 9 billion in the U.S.?
