Ok first off, he didn't cross check him in the throat. He hit him with the left hand to the shoulder. The hit was enough to knock him off balance and maybe knock him down. But not enough that he would go flying into the net knocking the net off. In fact he fell in the wrong direction. Second as far as you captain beating our asses, yeah I must have missed that. Finally as far as the playoffs, if I recall correctly we finished better in the standings than you.

It started before then, but now that it is currently in the playoffs. I would think Chicago fans would have their attention elsewhere other than a game they lost 4-0 and tried to send a message at the end of the game.
I'll take a 4-0 win every time if it means a bit of scrappy hawks trying to make up for a crappy performance. In the end nobody got really hurt, people hardly ever do in a hockey scrap. So all the talk of who whooped who is pretty pointless.

Well wait, most of the Hawks are Canadian. Only Kane, Byfuglien, and Burish are from the states(Kane is from Buffalo, he may as well be Canadian). Then you have a couple new Swede's picked up in the trade, Havlat is Czech, and the goalies are Russian(Khabi, you rule) and French. Otherwise everyone else is from Canada.
