  • Reminds me of coaches 4706& 4707 at Brecksville Road Transit

  • @ClassicTVMan

Wat I meant was a 5spd manual, back in the day when Peter Pan was short of Buses they used Raitian Valley and it were these I guess they changed the tranny

  • Soundz like an toned down 8v71, love it!!!, BTW isn't this an Ex Raitian Valley Coach, if so these used to 5spds

  • @luvdat8v71

    Or 7-speeds.

  • This is what i mean about beautiful music. I love the sound of the 8v71n and 8v92 engines. Don't need an ipod just the sweet sounds of the engtine running. I'd never get off the bus

  • This being a 1992 model, the powertrain is an 8V92TA (DDEC II?) with an Allison HT-748 ATEC?

  • I remember one time I rode on the MCI 96/102A3 bus(owned by Plaza TravelsTransit) back around October of 2004; it had the 8V71 engine--which I thought was the 8V92TA engine...

  • @baul104 i told you when i saw your video of that bus that it was an 8v71 engine!!

  • @TheBusDriver84: There is no need to rub it in; I've understand it already.

  • @baul104 nah i wasnt rubbing it in. we all make mistakes. ur ok with me

  • @TheBusDriver84: Okay, thanks.

  • What year is this bus? 1986? 1987? 1988?

  • @ClassicTVMan1981X:I believe its an early 1990's model.

  • Just been informed this is a 1992 model.

  • @SuperSonic3783

Thank you: the first C-series MCI coaches were made in 1988.

  • Coming soon , this bus will be replaced by a 45-foot MCI with an ADA Lift . Due to Federal Mandates , this bus has to replaced in late-2011 . For those people that like this motorcoach , you can specify this bus for your charter .

  • @Flxible3544

I wonder who'll take this bus once the new 45'er comes in?

  • HOLY SHIT! WTF IS AN MCI DOING PICKING UP SPEED THAT QUICK?!?! I AM DONE!!!! DONE!!

  • Ok you know what, I am no more GOT DAMN GOOD!!!!! Excellent Recording! That transmission is singing!

  • Minor error: the transmission would be an Allison HT-740. MCI has never made a V-Drive bus (which the V-731 is designated for).

Other than that...this is pretty awesome!! Can I has one copy??!

  • @MetroLinerXLZ:Noted and fixed.Thank you XLZ.

  • @SuperSonic3783

    Call him Montigue.

  • @MetroLinerXLZ what about the MCI classic series, some of them had V-Drive configurations

  • @newyorkfan16 Yes ur right, The MCI Classic was a V-Drive Bus. The NovaBUS Classic was a T-Drive bus.

  • @newyorkfan16

You are correct about that. I should have been more specific about what I was talking about. When it comes to the Over The Road coaches (like this one), MCI has never built one with a V-Drive configuration. ALL MCI Classics were V-Drive configured transit coaches.

  • @MetroLinerXLZ

Take in mind that the Classics was oringnaly a GM bus based off the New look design. The Clasic was built to replace New Looks with transit companies that thought the RTS was too out the box. Also take in mind that GM built their buses with V-Drive configgurations. I do not think MCI ever designed a buses with a V-Drive configuration.
