  • @TheIslander4lyfe and they could've been war against all the pacific natians in the tribal time when tribes went to claim land a steal women back to there villages but every one originate from asia. how do people arise from the fuking volcanoes out of the ocean thats how the freaking iislands are formed...

  • It s amazing how many comments there are about tokelau in a video that is about a dance in tikopia, in the solomon islands. Anyway would love to visit both, i love the Pacific, its culture, the food, the vibe, everything!!!!

  • @samoarepping lol my friend dont be making up things that are not actually true...where is ur facts for all your claims..? tokelauans most likely did not originate from samoa..a couple of tokelauans opinions can not be taken as accurate or actuall facts..and for your claim that samoa is the heart of polynesia is not even true..that term is a business slogan or term invented to sell samoa to the world. it was a tourism slogan introduced by the samoan government...KNOW your facts bro..

  • samoan history is nothing but big ps you made polynesia you must be drinking some dog shitt

  • good job tikopia lovely

  • @samoarepping Furthermore, the Tokelauan language doesnt just share similarities with Samoan... In fact Tuvaluan and Niuafou'ouan are languages much more similar to Tokelauan than Samoan and there are even marked similarities with the northern Cook Islands (Pukapuka, Tongareva, Manihiki) whom we share a rich cultural history with.

  • @samoarepping I AM TOKELAUAN ... our languages are only similar because Samoan missionaries brought the Good Word to Tokelau in Samoan and it became the language spoken in the church. The original Tokelauan language sounds nothing like Samoan. I have nothing against Samoans, my brother-in-law is Samoan and he and my sister have 4 gorgeous half Tokelauan half Samoan children, but when people go parading around like "WE MADE POLYNESIA" thats how wars started.

  • @samoarepping no they didnt.

  • Comment removed

  • @samoarepping no they didnt.

  • Looks almost Micronesian. Compare this with dances from Puluwat and/or Satawal and they look similar.

  • Tokelauan history states that in the last tokelauan war, people fled to the surrounding islands that you now know as Tikopia and Anuta, thats why there is a strong conection with the Tokelauan people.
