  • My own Single Six brought me here. 1971 model XR3-RED stamped no crossbar upgrade. Has the adjustable "target" sites.  I love it! Paid $125 for it used about 10 years ago. The trigger on this gun is outstanding!

  • Haha! I was expecting a BOOOM! then I was like 'Is that gun going off or did someone drop something?'

    But the .22 is probably the best target ammo and if we were allowed I would probably get one of those revolvers, although there is the ever present lure of the self-loading pistol.

    Is the velocity lost to cycling the action less than what is lost through cylinder-barrel gas escape?

  • I had a Ruger Single Six, liked the ability to change the cylinder and shoot .22LR or .22 Magnums great gun, should have kept it, doh! Thanks for sharing the video.
