Oh sure lots of water, almost ALL of which IS NOT FRESH... Factory farm animals waste is polluting water like crazy, & most of THAT water is used to rare them, & gallons of it to process their flesh.
Everyone needs to Educate themselves if you want to keep the Earth a sustainable planet
or I'll just stick to my way, be vegan, & single-handedly be responsible for a smaller carbon footprint, Besides having no animals suffering or dying because of me.. so thanks for that thought-provoking suggestion, but I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing, thank you very much... My mind is pure, free of guilt, body's pure, not serving as a graveyard for beautiful animals, & my soul is pure, with spiritual awareness... And I'm Happy, Healthy, & Eat Well... Feeling the best I have in my life...
Being "vegan" does not necessarily mean that you have a pure soul or free of guilt. I'm not insulting you because of your beliefs, but it is the same as another animal eating another. For example, a snake eats a mouse. The snake doesn't do it to kill off rats, it does this to SURVIVE. It's known as survival of the fittest. Meat is also the best source of vitamins for human beings. Although there are many pollution problems in this world, going "vegan" is not the way to solve them.
Okay, so.., a snake eats a mouse because that is part of it's diet, & very literally it cannot survive without those.. However humans are not meant to eat animal flesh (absence of developed canines & claws, long intestines, no night vision, nauseous at the sight & smell of blood & gore, rather than finding it appetising, taste for sweet things like fruit, highly social...) Look at the great apes that we evolved from, they are pretty much vegetarian aren't they..?
And how do they & oxen & horses stay strong without animal flesh then? As far as milk goes, why have we singled out another species to steal milk from even during adulthood?! It's absurd! Milk is for babies, from it's mother, or at least a female from the same species, & if there's no other go, then from a different species till they can move on to solid adult food. We keep impregnating cows, have a veal industry born from the ugly dairy industry where male calves are slaughtered...
Friend, vitamins are available in plenty in non-animal products, & don't come with the risk of cholesterol, heart disease, obesity, osteoporosis (yes, osteoporosis, cos the excess protein in milk draws calcium from the bones. It's proven, the highest milk-producing nations like Norway, Denmark & Sweden also have the highest rate of osteoporosis). Veganism reverses diabetes. Heard of Dr. Neal Barnard & The China Study by T. Collin Campbell?
If something is so good for animals, environment & health, the logical conclusion for me is this is the way it should have been to begin with.. Being vegan reduces methane emissions, pollutes very little water in comparison to being non-vegan, SAVES gallons of water, SAVES rainforests, can feed starving people what is being fed to animals that are suffering & being killed.. You got a better solution?
There are athletes & body-builders that have become vegan solely for health benifits. Carl Lewis being one. Robert Cheeke, the body-builder, did it for more reasons than health, & they're all super-successful
Veganism will solve the World's problems in 80 days (if done right, i.e. not consuming highly processed foods in large quantities).., another study. That's it.. End of story.
"There have been sufficient studies clearly showing that when women avoid all animal foods, their babies are born small, they grow very slowly and they are developmentally retarded, possibly permanently."
so we ignore all the other research & studies & what they prove? people have to lie to make money. but in the case of veganism, it's all about truth to heal the Earth. all I know is, the vegans I know AND their babies, me included are healthy & feel spiritual & one with nature. I think I've said all I've had to say. the rest is up to each individual, to be informed & not ignorant, compassionate not cruel.. all the best to everyone. thank you, goodbye. love to fellow vegans :)
the most beautiful of all though, is that I'm pure of Heart, living my love, & loving my life, while respecting the Earth & all other life.
Watch Earthlings everyone! Harsh realities, & the real Truth, unlike the documentary An Inconvenient Truth that conveniently left out the worst & most important things!
WTF?
90% of this planet is water. We have plenty of it, and it is not going anywhere.

Boil water... it takes less than 20 minutes. Or run it through some type of filtering system. It's not that hard.

Lack of nutrients = makes people retarded
It's not just for babies, it's been proven.
