Why is Ned Beatty's character always called a "Federal Agent" or an "Undercover Fed?" Why do they never use the term "FBI" or "FBI Agent?" Is there some rule or law against using the correct terminology in movies? This also happens in the move Capricorn One when Elliott Gould is arrested by "Federal Agents." Federal Agent is such a broad term since it could refer to someone that works for the Federal Aviation Administration or the Federal Communications Commission.

How many stupid sheriff parts did he do anyway? I remember seeing him in Superman II as well.

The one in Silver Streak was just one in the line.

Apparently old J.W. Pepper had plenty of cousins and brothers who appear ed in other movies as well.
