He was never OB on this hole. He hit his tee shot into a hazard, dropped, and knocked it in from there. It would have really been something else entirely to see anyone hole out from the tee box on a par 4 using an iron in a PGA tournament, but alas, that was not the case here.

You just don't see shots like that in everyday golf. One in a trillion chances of that happening.

I think hit his tee shot into a lateral hazard such as the ocean; then he would drop and be hitting his third. The announcer blew it.

@math3golf could have gone into a water hazard where you are allowed to take a drop from the line of entry. 1 = tee shot, 2 = drop 3 = BIRDIE TIME!
