  • This is iconic Kiss, well done.....

  • @jestio71 I agree! In my opinion, too bad TODAY'S audiences don't recognize that!

  • the best version i heard of god of thunder

  • it's funny how paul wrote this song for himself originaly... lol

  • so tru.

  • Peter did one thing good. He kept good time live. Eric Carr was a greaty drummer but he sped everything up.

  • @gus35 that was true until the dynasty tour, peter wasn't so great then :O

  • @kissfan747 yup, because his dumbass was beyond wasted the entire tour. What a way to make a come back huh?

  • @gus35 Um, keeping timing means you play at the same tempo as the rest of the band which Peter did NOT do most of the time. And the sped up live versions in the 80's was the decision of Paul and Gene. Learn what the word means and learn your history before posting next time because you sound like an idiot.

  • @romeokid69

First of all your a dumshit. Second if you had a clue you'd know that the drummer plays and the rest of the band plays to the drummers tempo. If the drummer plays fast/slow the rest will follow. Peter played more like the tempo of the song on the CD. Eric played faster than the CD version. I don't care that he was told to do so.

  • @gus35 You are the DUMB SHIT (learn how to spell Junior). Your point is valid except that Peter was not a good enough drummer to create a tempo for playing live. Watch any live clip and you will see that Paul Stanley usually sets the tone for the tempo of the song by counting it in. I DO know what I am talking about. Been a drummer/vocalist for 30 years. Now kindly go back to your basement with your other homo friends playing Dungeons & Dragons loser!!!!

  • @romeokid69 30-40 years of age and you still spend all day talking shit on You Tube. I went to see some of your other comments and that seems to be what you do best. So if Paul goes "One Two Ready Go" that does set the tempo initially. Peter played slower live... Carr played faster live. That's ALL I was trying to say. Peter IMO kept a fluid more steady tempo than Carr. That makes me an idiot apparently... I play drums and sing too...for as long as you. If that even matters. I'm all done now.

  • @gus35 My last point is this. The tempo a song STARTS at should be the tempo it FINISHES at. Peter was not fluid. There were more tempo changes throughout many KISS songs that he performed live. It's one of the main reasons the live albums he plays on are doctored in the studio. Yes, there were instances from other members as well, but Peter was the main culprit. Did Eric play faster? Of course he did and I never denied that. MY point was he was told to play that fast by Gene & Paul.

  • The crowd sounds very edited. And they played this in a slow speed to. Not so usual by that time. Thanks for the upload.

  • @Bgkgtjh The crowd was agitated, it was 95 degrees and very humid, and there where very long admission lines, stadium officials eventually send employees out to give out bottles of chilled orange juice, but this plan backfired and fights broke out when people starting to throw the bottles at one another...

  • this guy is my hero

  • @80srockhard without drugs or alcohol you can still rock this hard!!!

  • @kissfan747-Who cares. Are you ever gonna grow up Flip?
